Trailer Trash

Ok so I havnt wrote for a few days..





On thursday I went clubbing. I got to my friends house and we swapped outfits, this made me a lot happier as I did not like what I was wearing. We had a few drinks before we went out then got the bus into town. We went to DV8 first but because Kay and Jess had citexzenship cards, they wouldnt let us in. We went to walkabout instead. There was a popcorn part and there was a bouncy castle. Kay bought me a pair of Kanye glasses so i liiked cool as you can see...

So that was fun. The whole night was pretty good, I went on the bouncy castle twice and they had a popcorn cannon. Unfortunately a girl slipped on the popcorn and nocked her teeth out and bled eveywhere. I fell over too but I managed to retain all of my teeth.

All four of us stayed at Kays and three of us shared a single bed. I must say it wasnt the most comfortable nights sleep ive ever had.

Friday I went to town with Kay and watched her shop as I didnt have any money. Later I wennt to seans and watched films. Im sure I could detail the weekend in a witty way, if I had wrote at the time, but now im finding it quite hard to become enfused about it.

Last night I watched a film about zombies in a trailer park. Possibly on of the worst zombie films ive seen in my life. I dont even have words to describe how bad it was.

Today the shar pei went to its new home. The house is a lot quieter now.

Im going to town tomorrow to spend my birthday money. I have got a vague idea of what i want to buy, but not really.

Every Days A Holiday

I love BBC 2. This morning I got up, turned on the tellybox, and found a wonderful film called 'Every Days a Holiday'. Im not sure if it was meant to be funny, but I found it quite hilarious. The songs were totally random and in parts quite sexist (In one song a girl sang 'we all know that men are cleverer than women'!) and the editing was terrible. Despite this though, I found I quite enjoyed it.


Did you know tomorrow is peter rabbits birthday? Peter Rabbit was officially born on september the 4th, 1893. A useless fact, bit I like how even fictional characters have birthdays.



So, today.. Not much. I was waiting in for flooring so my activities were rather limited. I watched that delightful film which got my morning off to a cheery start then did some painting. Im doing a painting for my friend because she is going off to uni in a few weeks and I thought it would be nice to brighten up her room a bit. I will post a pic of it when it is done.


I logged into myspace for the first time in a while. I had a message from a transvestite trying to chat me up. Now, dont get me wrong, I have nothing against transvestites, BUT it would be nice if someone normal chatted me up for a change. The guys that chat me up are usually complete wasters/in a relationship/really wierd. Once a guy asked me if he could lick my boots! I mean, come on, give a girl a break!

I actually cant believe how tired I am. So if there are a lot of typo's in tis blog I apologise!

Now, tomorrow night Im supposed to be going to DV8, but i have nothing to wear! All the clothes I have been buying lately have been daytime clothes for when I start my foundation degree next week so Im at a loss. I mean, Im sure I have something, but i wish I had something new! Or at least something I havnt worn before.

Stop/Start Theory...

Today we had band practice again. I was fashionably late, again. I refuse to take the full blame for my lack of punctuality, We have just got a new Shar Pei, so i had to walk it before I went out. I also had to get change for the bus. Im sure you will agree that these are both very time consuming activities.

Once I did actually get to practice, it went quite well. We had a photographer down so I dont know how those will turn out. Im not the most photogenic of souls. Plus the bassest kept putting me off. The worst kind of player is a Bass player.

This band business is expensive though. We had a 3 hour practice and now I only have 50p to my name. Bad times. Fortunately it is my birthday next week so I will hopefully get some money there. ive already had my new blackberry, and my grandma has bought me a Burberry style mac.

I went up town with mother and grandma yesterday for bank holiday. We only went in three shops. I got a black dress from topshop, a Tee shirt and a knitted cape. Im thinking of customising the cape - any ideas?

I was reading POP magazine on the bus today, and I saw some shoes by Comme des Garcones. Heres a pic from fall 09..

They are so quirky! I love them. I quite like the whole collection.

I also found the interview with Damien Hurst very interesting, and will soon be chexking out Brody Dalle's band Spinnerette. I remember the days of the distillers when I spent my money on fishnet tights and black nail varnish. I was quite the little goth. Ive grown out of it now, though I do still have my days when i think.. Do I feel like wearing colour today? Ive always found goth to be mysterious, when it is done correctly, and mystery keeps things interesting. Though, I don't think I will be going back to it anymore.

Margaret Thatcher, Milk Bottle Snatcher... I never thought of MT as a style icon, but I suppose she isn't really my era. Personally, Im not one for power dressing, though I can see the benefits of it in her case. Although she didn't do much for womens rights, she did show that it is possible for a woman to hold a position of power.

Tomorrow will be spent painting. I also want to pop down to this little brook I found and take some test shots before I get models down there. Does anybody know where I can get gold body paint from? I have a male model but I want to paint him gold. Im trying to go for the etheral look, something a bit 'other worldly'.
